Nomos Glashütte unveils three Tangente neomatik in 18kt gold

Nomos Glashütte has released three new Tangente models crafted in 18kt yellow gold and powered by the neomatik calibre DUW 3001.

The three new Tangente gold neomatik models share the same 35 mm round case, which is characterised by polished surfaces, minimal bezel and angular lugs. The crown is also crafted from solid gold.

For these quintessential dress watches, Nomos Glashütte uses only 18-carat gold that has previously taken a different form and has been certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council Chain of Custody.

The trio includes a traditional white silver-plated dial enriched with thermally blued hands (ref. 161), a refined interpretation pairing the same silver-plated finish with warm gold hands (ref. 162), and a sophisticated version distinguished by its deep ruthenium dial and golden accents (ref. 163).

The “neomatik” lettering highlights the innovative movement inside this watch: the in-house automatic calibre DUW 3001 with the proprietary Nomos swing system escapement.

At just 3.2 mm thick, this automatic calibre is exceptionally flat, allowing the watch to remain only 6.9 mm in total height.

Through the transparent sapphire crystal back, you can see the typical three-quarter plate architecture, ribbing polish, and thermally blued screws.

Beating at 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), the DUW 3001 includes a stop-seconds mechanism and Incabloc shock protection. Its bidirectional winding rotor, enriched with gold-plated embossing, builds a power reserve of 43 hours.

Offered in classic black or warm brown, the comfortable Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan leather strap fastens with a solid gold clasp. It has an 18 mm lug width.

The new Nomos Glashütte Tangente gold neomatik models have a suggested retail price of €9,800.
